Puna container home in progress

First I'd like to thank all who have been curious about this project and all who have given valuable insight .
I have started my home using 4 containers. I have pics I would like to post as soon as I get a better internet connection out here in the middle of Kaimu jungle in Hawaii.
There has already been quite a stir about this project and has been gotten some press. I have also been approached by Renovation Nation to do an episode for them regarding the sustainability and green aspects of this project. Unfortunately I had to decline the invitation but the project still lives on!
We have had some challenges along the way as this is a case study home. The issue at hand now is the welding scars in the finnish that are left behind due to metal furring for interior plywood application. I was hoping to get some feed back regarding ideas for furring other than a weldable type and/or how to eliminate the scars and still straighten the slight irregularities in the straightness of the walls.
Any insight or advice would be helpful.
Best aloha, Mitch
